SCP is not just about providing products. We are about providing solutions. Instead of trying to be all things to all people, we have streamlined our fiber solutions to better support the needs of our distribution partners. Our fiber program primarily focuses on infrastructure cables and connectivity solutions that you need for LAN/Networking, AV & Digital Signage, Security, and Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs). Our fiber solutions start where the Telecom/CATV provider service points end at the building exterior.
Reading most fiber offerings by our competitors can be more painful than reading “War and Peace” by Tolstoy. Even one simple item can be called multiple names between brands or even the same brand! Our goal is to make fiber integration as easy to understand and implement as an ethernet network.
We call our fiber program, SCP-EasyFiber™, because we really do make fiber integration easy. Here’s how:
No need to sort through hundreds of options. We identified the core fiber infrastructure and connectivity items needed for residential/ commercial LAN/Networking, AV, Security, and Multi-Dwelling Units (MDU’s); and then to make sure we can offer the best quality and pricing to support these solutions.
Bends are the #1 concern when installing fiber networks inside buildings. Most fiber cables do not perform well in these environments. That is why you must use a “Bend Insensitive” cable that can be installed comparable to copper cables. Introducing SCP-EasyFiber™, the first fiber cable designed to support today’s integration practices.
