SCP Cancels Participation at Upcoming CEDIA Expo in Indianapolis

Please be advised that Structured Cable Products Inc (“SCP”) will no longer be participating at the upcoming CEDIA Expo 2021 in Indianapolis.

Due to the spread of the Covid Delta variant, many of our team members have recently become sick, and exhibiting at the Expo would be an unacceptable risk to our other team members and our valued customers.

We are aware that many other vendors have recently canceled their participation at the Expo due to the spread of the Delta variant. Further, many of our customers have recently notified us that they will not be attending the Expo due to the health risks and the previously announced vendor cancellations.

While we are disappointed that we had to cancel, it is the right decision for SCP and our customers. We do look forward to when we can safely meet with everyone again. SCP has many new products and product lines that we look forward to discussing with you. In the meantime, be safe and God Bless.

SCP Will Not be Exhibiting at ISE2021 in Barcelona and We Look Forward to Exhibiting at ISE2022 in February

Ft. Lauderdale, FL, USA – 1 March 2021 – In light of today’s announcement that ISE2021 was proceeding as scheduled with their June 1-4 2021 trade show in Barcelona, please be advised that Structured Cable Products Inc (“SCP”) will not be participating in this June event, but look forward to meeting all of our international customers at ISE in February 2022.

It is our belief that it is irresponsible to risk the health and possible lives of our customers and staff to attend a trade show in early June. While successful medical progress is being made in the fight against this pandemic, an in-person trade show that brings together people from all over the world, before many of the attendees and exhibitors can be vaccinated, is a recipe that could have dire consequences for those in attendance. Even if only one person contracts this virus and ultimately dies, is that an acceptable price to pay to hold an international event during a pandemic? In our opinion, it is not.

We are as anxious as everyone else to get back to some sort of normalcy and to meet with all our customers and friends at a future trade show. There is nothing that compares to meeting in-person and enriching our relationships. With a little more time and patience, we believe that it will be safe to gather and meet again soon.

As of now, SCP is still planning on exhibiting at InfoComm in Orlando (September) and CEDIA Expo in Indianapolis (October).

In the upcoming weeks, SCP will be announcing a series of new products and solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of our industry. We remain committed to providing you with the best Quality, Selection, Service, and Value. In the meantime, be safe and know that better times are ahead very soon.
